This site is dedicated to the memory of our son Michael Paul Tiedemann. It was his dream that made this site a reality. Without his love for his friends and generation it would not exist.
Michael's Message, Inc., a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization was founded with the intent to educate the public and our youth about the dangers of the illicit Schedule 1 drug GHB (Gamma Hydroxy Butyrate) and other Designer/Club drugs as well as Prescription and other illicit drugs. Its founding was inspired by the swift, tragic and uncharacteristic death of our son Michael. Education is the key to prevention.
To present this Drug Awareness Program to as many of our youth as possible. Our youth must be made aware of the harmful effects and consequences associated with the choices they make. Drugs touch most of our lives in one way or another.
Introduce this program nationwide. We have shared "Michael's Message" with students, parents and community leaders across Florida, Georgia, and Illinois. "Michael's Message" is dedicated to preventing the use of illicit drugs and abuse of mind-altering substances.
Our website is constantly growing and changing. With the help of some friends who want to remain anonymous we will continue to develop our website so that it becomes a place for visitors to come and learn about the dangers these drugs can bring to the most precious resource we have-- our youth.
We also developed website access where children, teens, young adults and parents can communicate with us about their experiences. We will seek suggestions on improving our ability to communicate the dangers of this and other drugs that are swiftly penetrating the lives if our youth everywhere they live-home, school, playgrounds, parties and more.
